    Blood and Sand: This essential scotch cocktail, created in London in the 1920s, was named for the 1922 film starring Rudolph Valentino. It combines scotch, Cherry Heering, vermouth, and orange juice for a smoky-sweet effect. Pour the cocktail into a highball glass, and top off with more juice if you wish to serve the drink at brunch. Ingredients: 1 oz. scotch 3/4 oz. Cherry Heering liqueur 3/4 oz. sweet vermouth 3/4 oz. fresh orange juice 1 maraschino cherry, to garnish Instructions: Combine scotch, Cherry Heering, vermouth, and orange juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice; cover and shake until chilled, about 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and top with cherry.

    Rosemary-Infused Honey Sidecars = 3 sprig fresh rosemary, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 c. Honey, 2 c. VSOP Cognac, 1 c. lemon juice. Directions: 1. In a medium pot, bring 2 2/3 cups water and 3 rosemary sprigs to a boil. Boil 1 minute and set aside to steep until water cools to room temperature, about 20 minutes. Discard rosemary sprigs and pour infused water into 2 ice-cube trays and freeze. 2. Place sugar in a small, shallow dish. Using your finger, coat rims of eight 8-ounce tumblers with honey and immediately press the rims into sugar to coat. Set aside. 3. In a pitcher, combine Cognac, lemon juice, and remaining honey. Add rosemary-infused ice cubes and stir vigorously until honey dissolves and liquid is well chilled. Pour through a strainer into prepared glasses; discard ice. Garnish each glass with a rosemary sprig and serve immediately.

    Elyx Cup= 6 leaves fresh mint,2 slices cucumber, 2 oz. vodka, 3/4 oz. lime juice, 1/2 oz. simple syrup, Prosecco. Directions: Muddle mint and cucumber. Add vodka, lime juice, and simple syrup and shake. Pour over glass with ice. Top with Prosecco.

    Moscow Mule=1 1/2 oz. vodka,1/2 oz. fresh lime juice, 1/4 oz. simple syrup, ginger beer, Lime wedges, for garnish. Directions: Lightly shake vodka, lime juice, and simple syrup. Add ginger beer and shake. Serve in a copper mug and garnish with lime wedge.

    1 fluid ounce vodka, 1 fluid ounce gold tequila,1 fluid ounce rum,1 fluid ounce gin,1 fluid ounce Cointreau or triple sec, 5 fluid ounces sweet and sour mix ,2 fluid ounces cola, 1 lime wedge. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice; pour in vodka, tequila, rum, gin, Cointreau, and sweet and sour mix. Cover and shake until the outside of the shaker is frosty. Place a few cubes of ice into a highball glass, and strain in the iced tea. Top with the cola, and garnish with a wedge of lime.
